Come plant a healthy home, enjoy a wonderful day at Lavender Valley with the whole family, walk the Easter Trail, and indulge in spring specialties from Czech gardens, farms, and forests.
March at Lavender Valley
Welcoming spring is one of the oldest European traditions, uniting Celtic, Slavic, and Christian cultures in a celebration of life, light, and hope. At Lavender Valley, we view it as a natural transition from winter stillness to a season of outdoor life—in the landscape, in the light, and in movement.
As days grow longer, nature, herbs, trees, and the human body awaken. Spring is a time of purification, lightness, and new beginnings. We continue the old European traditions of herbal baths, cleansing sweats, and working with natural cycles that helped the body and soul breathe again after winter.
We invite you to Lavender Valley in the heart of the Barrandien Geopark, where the energy of the landscape, Organic herb gardens, lavender fields, and peaceful trails converge. Come observe nature awakening, recharge your strength, and enter spring consciously, in a rhythm natural to humanity.

Spring Welcoming Ball – For Little Fairies, Elves, and Astral Beings
Spring Welcoming—little goddesses, astral beings, witches, wizards, sages, and forest creatures are invited to our ball for young and old alike.
FREE ADMISSION
Goddess Freya will use a primrose to unlock the gates of spring, and all little ladies, boys, girls, and elves are welcome at the Na Louce restaurant for dancing, eating, drinking, and competitions.
Program:
- 1:00 PM – Competition for the most beautiful costume
- 2:00 - 4:00 PM – Dancing, music, fine food, and drinks
- 4:30 PM – Spring workshops: primroses and seedlings for your own pot or planter as a keepsake and a way to summon spring
Come with your children to open the gates of spring together through dance, music, and good spirits. There will be a competition for the best costume, and upbeat music and dance for our beloved children. Meanwhile, moms and dads can enjoy our tea room, café, and restaurant, or take a stroll.

Joyful Easter at Lavender Valley
Learn about the significance of Easter and spring, rituals, traditions, and customs along our spring trail for adults and children alike.
- Weave a wreath and pay respects to the waterways.
- Blow out and decorate eggs using dozens of techniques we have available.
- Decorate an Easter basket or home decor and experience a herbal Easter on your plate.
- Purchase beautiful artisanal gifts.
- Stroll through the limestone seas.
Arrive by train from Prague, Pilsen, Karlovy Vary, or the surrounding area to Zdice—within ten minutes, you will be enjoying Lavender Beer from the master brewers of the Všerad Brewery, or savoring a Lavender Mojito, Prosecco, or Organic beverages from the Lavender Valley workshop.
